Organizations in transition have two things happening at once: someone is managing the operational side, and the people layer is quietly starting to break down.
Leadership changes, board conflicts, mergers, governance disputes; these are organizational events with human consequences that don't wait for the right moment to surface. I come in during the transition, not after the damage is done, to stabilize the relationships, dynamics, and trust structures that determine whether the organization comes out intact.
This is embedded work with a defined scope and a clear before and after. I'm in the room, at the table, for the duration of the moment that requires it.

I spent 15 years in high-stakes live event production, 10+ of them at ESPN, working productions like the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euros, and Emmy Award-winning College GameDay.
After ESPN, I managed the event portfolio for a major healthcare foundation, including a community event (that had been an institution for over 50 years) with a completely fractured board relationship that had been building for decades. I rebuilt it.
In every role I have ever had, the same thing happened: when an organization was under pressure and the people dynamics started fracturing, it fell to me. Not because it was my job title, but because the stakes were too high to get it wrong and I was the person who could hold it.
That pattern is what I do now, deliberately and by design.
